As we get older, we often need smaller amounts of food, so it’s vitally important to ensure that the food that we DO eat is nutritious and wholesome. It is also very easy to put on weight if our lifestyle becomes less energetic, so it can be important to ensure that our food intake meets our needs without adding excess poundage.
Today I fancied a dessert with Sunday dinner, so I got sugar free jelly crystals yesterday and made them up into a dessert. The jelly was lovely and I really felt that I had had a dessert along with everyone else.
